Windsurfing Denia is a center committed to the environment
Since 2021, the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community has rewarded us with the BLUE BANNER for our efforts in ecology and environmental education.
What do we do to deserve it?
We adhere to a code of conduct that includes:
- Collect trash from the sea and the beach,
- Save energy and water,
- Minimize our waste,
- Recycle, repair, repurpose, reuse,
- Use environmental criteria when choosing products and suppliers.
Some specific examples?
We refurbish all fiberglass boards , whether they are for paddle surfing, windsurfing or wingfoiling.
We renew the appearance of those boards: the paint, the gelcoat, the EVA foam pad, etc. that has been damaged even though they are structurally and functionally perfect.
Furthermore , we changed the covers to natural cork!

We manufacture our own Wing-foil boards by recycling old windsurf or kitesurf boards.
Straight from the 90s to today!
Most of our facilities are made with recycled materials .
Some of these materials come from the same school (boards, booms, masts, etc.) that reached the end of their useful life and have been revalued in a new use.
