Tenemos las condiciones perfectas para el Wingfoil en Denia

At Windsurfing Denia, we've already been using this flying object for four seasons.

And we love it!

Our priorities for Wingfoil lessons are the result of more than 15 years of experience with windsurfing and sailing:

  • Small groups . Up to 3 people for the first classes, only 2 students per instructor when you start flying!

  • Monitors in contact with the student: we have three motorboats to follow the students closely, guide them and ensure their safety at all times.

  • Suitable equipment : we have boards, wings and foils adapted to all levels and all ages.

Our course consists of 5 two-hour classes organized into three stages:

  • Wing 1 (1 or 2 classes): Basic knowledge, practice with the Wing and sailing with windsurf boards with a centerboard. Light and moderate winds.

Objectives: To navigate smoothly with a wind-propelled wing in all directions, tack and gybe.

  • Wing 2 (1 or 2 classes): Sailing with a wing and board with a volume and dynamics similar to wing-foil boards (130-150 liters). Moderate to strong winds. Accompanied by an instructor on a boat.

Objectives: To sail in wind conditions and with volume charts very similar to wing-foil sailing. To find power and acceleration.

  • Wing 3 (1 or 2 classes): Sailing with complete equipment (wing, board and foil). Accompanied by an instructor on a boat.

Objectives: That's it! Let's take off!

And what about foil tow-in (towed by a boat)?

Some schools include as a mandatory step a session of board + foil stretched out on the water by the motorboat.

It's a resource we use in case the wind fails, but we prefer to prioritize wind propulsion.

- Towing wastes a lot of time: There are many falls. Each time, the boat has to turn around, reposition the handle, wait for the student to get back in, etc. Furthermore, only one student gets to practice while the others wait.

Towing presents different challenges than wingsurfing. The boat pulls very differently. If you're already used to waterskiing or wakeboarding, this session will allow you to discover foiling; if not... sailing is better.

We don't claim it's for everyone, but... what if this sport is made for you?!
